walk-in shower reasonable prices easy walk
the bathroom had a walk-in shower, i found it very convenient. the bar prices were reasonable. the hotel is very close to the plaza de espana, i could walk there easily.
i noticed the hotel lacks long mirrors in the rooms.

interior shaft poor soundproofing
The room i got was a 'double or twin room'. it faced an interior shaft, so natural light was a rare commodity. it was like being in a perpetual twilight zone. also, the soundproofing could use some work. I heard every conversation and every rolling suitcase from the hallway. i swear the neighbors were having a party every night. Sleep became a luxury.

high minibar prices hallway noise
i found that the minibar prices were quite high. it was also a bit noisy, as i could hear other guests in the hallway. i was hoping for a quieter stay though the location was so central.

Really good Location and Comfortable Stay

The hotel's location was fantastic! It was convenient to explore the city because plaza españa was very close. The room itself was well kept with good size. I found the hotel staff consistently helpful. The nice decor added to the charm of the stay.
I experienced some noise issues due to poor sound insulation in the rooms. It made it difficult to get a restful night's sleep. This was particularly bothersome as I could hear neighbors and hallway noise quite clearly.
